Here is how Island Art Glass is responding to COVID-19

Shipping Returns Policy Liability

Thank you for reviewing our policies. Your satisfaction with our transaction is important to us.

SHIPPING

We will ship your order same day whenever possible. Orders fulfilled after the shipping cutoff for the day will be picked up by our carrier on the following business day. Our average turnaround time for orders is within 14 days, and you may request a specific shipping arrival date.

The Ship to Address:

Please be careful to provide a correct shipping address. We will charge a $25 fee if a package is returned due to an incorrect address. Watch for the right St., Ave., Blvd., Ln., Circle, N - S - E - W, Apt#, etc.

We pack your glass item with great care - with extra packing materials, limiting the number of items in the box to ensure safe delivery. While we expect careful handling by the carrier while your package is en route to you, sometimes damage will occur.

If There is Damage:

If your package arrives damaged, we ask that you keep the original packing material and notify us within 7 business days of the package’s receipt. It is immensely helpful if you take a picture (phones work great!) of both the package and the damaged glass, and another of the shipping label, and send to us by email as quickly as possible.

How to Notify Us:

By email: ordersiag@whidbey.com

We will replace or refund the purchase price of broken items if you report within the 7 business days.

Exchanges or Returns

Items in their original condition may be returned for exchange or store credit for up to 15 days after the date of purchase with approval issued by our website. Contact us before repacking and first receive your approval.

How to Package and Ship Glass for Returns

Once approved for return, you may either bring the items to a UPS store and have UPS package and insure it for full retail value, or follow the requirements below for repacking and shipping, taking your packed item to UPS.

Package the glass exactly as it was packed and sent to you. Make sure the glass is secure in the inner and outer boxes, or if only one box, with all the original packing replaced. You may need to add some additional packing material so that the glass is not loose inside the box. Include a copy of the return invoice, (we provide to you by email as an approval of the return) in the box.

Use a NEW corrugated cardboard box that is at least 3” larger the the inner box on all sides. Tape the bottom of this box closed, making sure that the box when taped is square. Fill with packing material, such as clean crumpled paper. Make sure all sides of the outer box are filled with this material so the inner box does not sink to one side. Top fill the box with more packing material to “lock” the inner box into place. Tape the box closed on all seams, and write in felt pen on top and side “Fragile Glass”. You must ship the box to us by UPS so that your return is insured for the full retail value you paid for it, if over $100.00.
